Digital Virgo in the World: March of Excitement and Celebration Digital Virgo in the World: March of Excitement and Celebration

What an exciting month this was for Digital Virgo! Not only did we win a prize, we attended some of the major events in the digital industry held this past month. Attending annual events that we never miss, and discovering new experiences that will surely see us return in the future. Discover everything we did this month, and follow the latest digital trends we've brought up with us!

Unlocking Opportunities by Staying Connected

March started with a very inspiring note: We were thrilled to be part of the 20th edition of MWC Barcelona, one of the most important gatherings of the global mobile industry. For our teams, this edition was another fantastic opportunity to reconnect with partners, meet new industry players from all over the globe, and exchange ideas on the trends shaping the future of the mobile ecosystem.

It was also the occasion to attend the MEF Global Forum Conference, organized by the Mobile Ecosystem Forum, where Eric Tiberghien (Group COO) joined an insightful panel on Digital Payments Evolution, discussing how payments are becoming more local, more diverse, and increasingly driven by alternative rails, and what this shift means for digital merchants worldwide.

But without a doubt, the highlight was receiving a MEFFYS Award. We were honored to be recognized for powering a cloud-based Multi-Tenant OTT & Streaming Marketplace for telecom operators worldwide, helping them transition from traditional TV to scalable and fully monetizable streaming services. A great moment of recognition for our teams who worked on bringing the project to life.

The teams in Abidjan honoured International Women’s Day (March 8) with a special Financial Education workshop for our female colleagues, and even colleagues from Senegal and Cameroon were also able to attend online. They went through topics like: how to budget effectively every month, and how to save effectively in order to plan your investments.

Building Bridges to a Future of New Experiences

Meanwhile in Monaco, the Addict Mobile team was present for the 17th edition of One to One Retail E-Commerce: a great opportunity to meet with many advertisers, exchange on their challenges, and showcase how we can support them with performance-driven marketing strategies. Lots of inspiring conversations, promising connections, and meetings with the potential to turn into new partnerships.

All the way to San Francisco, Sebastien Ferron (Content Partnerships Manager) had the great opportunity to attend the GDC Festival of Gaming, where numerous conferences take place by industry players such as Sony, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Electronic Arts. The subjects ranged from feedback on the implementation of AI to learning sessions on trends and methods of visual creation in games, development, and new features of game creation tools, how to optimize monetization in games, and more.

Later on, our teams spent an insightful day at Google‘s London office, exchanging ideas and gaining a broader collective perspective on market dynamics and telecom operators’ challenges. It was a great opportunity to engage openly, together with Google’s vision and valuable insights, while showcasing our digital and global growth solutions for the ecosystem.

And we were even present in Hong Kong to attend Filmart: Jean-Noel Hugonin (Global Head of Content) got to meet a lot of new and welcoming partners. The quality of services and content presented during the event was outstanding, with strong global potential, reminding us of the key role we play in supporting international scale and growth through telco partnerships.
