Driving Global Partnerships Through Key Events
We kicked off the month in style by attending GITEX Africa 2026 for the third consecutive year, reaffirming our commitment to supporting the growth of Africa’s digital ecosystem. Our teams on the ground in Marrakech got to meet partners, exchange with industry leaders, and explore opportunities to build next-generation digital service ecosystems. All the steps in our path to accelerate telecom operators’ digital transformation within Africa’s digital revolution.
Not long after, the Addict Mobile teams received an invitation from Meta to be part of a select group of top French advertisers and agencies to attend an exclusive event in Paris, featuring high-profile speakers from companies such as Renault, Bouygues, and Accor, while the agenda included discussions on creative content, AI, and the importance of WhatsApp in acquisition strategies.
Meanwhile, our top management had the honour to participate in a panel during the Libya-France Business Forum in Marseille: “How Tech & Telecoms Drive Modern Economic Growth”. A privileged occasion to explore our relationship with Libya and find a moment to encounter potential partners. Having been operating in Libya for over two years, we have witnessed firsthand the country’s transformation, the accelerating momentum to strengthen economic ties between France and Libya, as well as the development of its digital ecosystem.
In Buenos Aires, our teams in Latam attended the Argentina Digital Summit, a key gathering for the country’s digital and telecom ecosystem. The event brought together leaders from across the public and private sectors to discuss how digital infrastructure, connectivity, and innovation are shaping the future of the region, with a strong focus on enabling AI and accelerating technological adoption.
Strengthening Collaboration Through Visits & Team Synergy
This month was also full of visits from colleagues, peers, and partners from around the world:
On the partners’ side, members of Digital Virgo’s top management were in Lagos to meet with the local teams and hold meetings with the MTN Nigeria teams. Not long after, the Abidjan teams were visited by Média-participations, the developer of ONO, a webtoon service that Digital Virgo connects to the operator in Côte d’Ivoire and Cameroon.
We also had many different workshops: Abidjan hosted a finance workshop with a group of international colleagues. In Bratislava, we organized a three-day workshop with our business and commercial teams to align on how we define and develop new projects: a great opportunity to bring together colleagues from Poland, France, and Slovakia and help strengthen collaboration and share different perspectives. And no visit is too small: even the Egypt office had the pleasure of welcoming the UAE’s Regional HR Manager to exchange on different topics and catch up on what’s new.
