The MoU was formally signed in two stages, a presignature was made at Gitex Africa in Marrakech, and the official signing took place at the Sofitel Casablanca, on April 17, 2025.

Wan Murdani Wan Mohamad, Vice President of the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) & Mounia Terhzaz, Regional CEO Africa at Digital Virgo.

The signing took place in Morocco, a country with strong ties to Digital Virgo, giving this agreement a symbolic dimension and reflecting the Group’s international outlook and long-standing presence in key digital markets.
The MoU outlines a collaborative framework that includes knowledge sharing, investment exploration in Malaysia, and the creation of dedicated entities to manage and support Digital Virgo’s operations across the ASEAN market. Building on this foundation, the partnership reflects Digital Virgo’s ambition to grow internationally while reinforcing local digital ecosystems.
Thanks to Raizon Consulting’s regional expertise, the two parties aim to accelerate the Group’s market entry and operations in Malaysia and beyond.
Key areas of collaboration include:
- Transfer of expertise and best practices between the two companies
- Joint exploration of investment opportunities in Malaysia
- Establishment of an ASEAN-focused entity to manage regional operations
- Creation of a Malaysia-based entity to serve as a strategic hub for the region
