The Spanish audiovisual communication group, which has a nearly 30% share of the national market, has been working for several months with the Digital Virgo’s Group to monetise its audience, with the management of its interactivity operations. Digital Virgo provides Mediaset with telephone numbers that allow viewers to participate by phoning or via SMS, as well as a platform for managing, tracking and monetising the various operations. Digital Virgo’s Spanish teams work on site, in Mediaset’s studios, to provide the best possible support to their client.
The first interactivity operation, resulting from this constructive collaboration between the two companies, took place at the end of 2018 with a competition organised for Mediaset’s main channel, Telecinco, the national leader in television audience. This competition, organised for the Christmas holidays, enabled several viewers to win a total of 100,000 euros in gifts, thanks to the sending of an SMS or a surcharged call, directly linked to telecom invoicing, thanks to the DV Pass solution. This was a real success with more than half a million visits.
This collaboration with Spain’s leading audiovisual group proves once again Digital Virgo’s ability to connect the Media to Telecom Operators, with the provision of a single number for mobile billing. This is a high-performance technical solution, provided thanks to a single management interface with personalised support for its customers and partners.
