The negotiation with Fastweb for billing connection and integration with the Digital Virgo platforms to deliver Premium SMS services (Ticketing and Donations) started one year ago. First ticketing service was delivered as a pilot in August 2024 and the ticketing service in many cities is live since September 30th 2024. The first donations campaigns (for cancer and drug foundations, among others) will start on October 20th.

Fastweb has activated its Mobile Ticketing service to enable its customers in the cities of Milan, Rome, Naples, Bari, Padua, Teramo, Latina, Olbia and Salerno to buy public transport tickets, parking tickets and recharge electric cars, directly via SMS using their phone credit.
Customers can easily purchase local public transport tickets, tickets for on-street parking on blue lines and access to restricted areas by sending an SMS costing 0.29 euros with a predefined text message, specific to each city, available at this link. After the message has been sent, the customer will receive two SMS messages: the first will confirm the purchase and report the cost of the ticket and its QR code, while the second, coming from the 4800 number, will provide a summary of the cost incurred for the SMS service.
In addition to traditional payment methods, through the Mobile Ticketing service it is also possible to recharge your electric vehicle throughout Italy using your phone credit. Recharging is possible thanks to Duferco Mobility, a leading operator in the field of electric mobility. To start recharging, simply send a text message with the number of the relevant Duferco charging station to 4882882 and, after receiving a confirmation text message, recharging will start automatically.
Fastweb’s Mobile Ticketing service is supported by Digital Virgo Group, a partner of telecommunications operators worldwide specializing in payment solutions with phone credit, with a dedicated Digital Ticketing offering.
Starting in 2025, the service will be gradually extended to more cities.
