Strengthening Our Position Across All Business Lines
The month started off with the DV Ticketing teams going to Orléans, France, to attend the National Public Transport Meeting (RNTP). The perfect opportunity to connect with different players from the French mobility ecosystem to showcase our Mobile Ticketing 360° solutions.
The Smart Contact team in Spain attended the IFAES Customer Relations Expo in Madrid. This year’s edition focused on the challenge of adapting Customer Experience to the technological advancements and the possibilities of the future with Artificial Intelligence.
In Cape Town, our global expertise and strong local presence had a chance to shine during the Digital Africa Summit: from Super Apps discussions hosted by the Mobile Ecosystem Forum, to a proud moment for Digital Virgo Africa, rewarded once again by MTN with the ‘Best Strategic Growth & Leadership Award’, for the second year in a row.
An official ceremony took place in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, for the granting of our TV license from the Haute Autorité de la Communication Audiovisuelle (HACA), the national regulator body overseeing the audiovisual sector in the country. A major milestone that strengthens our journey toward building a sustainable and compliant digital ecosystem.
Meanwhile, in Paris, our teams were at the front of innovation talks at Salon des Maires, showcasing inclusive digital solutions that simplify mobility, foster citizen engagement, and democratize access to culture, promoting local inclusion for communities that are more connected, participatory, and accessible to all.
And not long after, YouTube’s 20th anniversary was celebrated at the Opéra Comique, and part of our Acquisition, Video, and Motion Design teams, as well as a delegation from Addict Mobile, had the pleasure of attending this event dedicated to creativity and innovation.
Supporting Education and Growing Together
Our colleagues from the Aix-en-Provence content team visited the Madrid offices for a two-day workshop: exploring how AI enhances content creation across text, audio, and video. Teams shared new tools for generating and managing content efficiently, best practices for prompt optimization, and automation ideas.
In Lyon, France, the international HR leads had the chance to meet up face-to-face in order to align themselves with their global team priorities: two intense but interesting and enriching days, accompanied by some great moments of conviviality to catch up amongst colleagues.
And just like every month, we remain committed to promoting access to education around the world. As part of our Positive Impact initiative, our colleagues in Egypt worked with the Educate Me Foundation, and visited one of the community schools in El Talbiya to spend a meaningful day meeting the students, where we witnessed the enthusiasm and passion for learning that each child displayed.
In our offices in Morocco, we held a workshop with the Jadara Foundation. We welcomed around 30 students and trained them on Martech and Product topics. The day ended with the official signing of the partnership between Mounia Terhzaz (Regional CEO Africa) and the Foundation’s Director.
