Front-end Developer (HTML/CSS/JS) M.F

Digital Virgo is seeking a new Front-end Developer who is passionate about web development and web design. He/she will be part of the Digital Virgo Marketing Team based in Florence. With a performance-oriented approach to technology, the candidate must have the drive, creative imagination, and research skills to produce outstanding landing pages and user experience flows, starting from existing mockups/concepts. Reporting directly to the area manager, he/she will work alongside the marketing department.

Your missions

  • Create dynamic and animated pages using HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Transform design concepts and prototypes into responsive web pages using vanilla HTML/CSS (no WordPress).
  • Write javascript code to implement animations and UX flows and interactions on web pages.
  • Use the API of the DV products to integrate the webpages with the content
  • Monitor the quality of the web page on different devices with Google inspector, and check the speed with tools such as gtmetrix.com and webpagetest.com
  • Monitor the results of the websites with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Optimize, and Hotjar.

Skills needed

  • Has a degree in technology-related subjects
  • Has excellent communications skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Has experience in HTML, CSS and Javascript programming
  • Has knowledge of advanced CSS (transforms, animation, flexbox, grid, media-queries, etc.)
  • Has a basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
  • Has a strong interest in the latest design trends, technology, web development tools and user experience.
  • Has good English communication skills
