Communication Manager

Digital Virgo is an international group, specialized in mobile payments, operating in more than 40 countries. The global communication strategy is managed from the headquarter in Lyon, France, and then adapted to the local specificities of Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.​

Your missions

In order to strengthen the cross-functional team we are looking for a Communications Manager. A profile that combines strategy and operational skills. You will work with a team dedicated to the creation of multimedia content and a team of local communication officers to ensure the consistency and implementation of the Group’s communication strategy. You will be in charge of

  • The implementation of the “Content Marketing” strategy with the drafting of briefs, the management of external service providers and the creation of optimized content according to the distribution channels.
  • Defining an annual editorial calendar consistent with the Group’s business goals.
  • Monitor the Group’s key topics in order to make proposals for the creation of innovative and traffic-generating content. 
  • Tracking KPIs and identifying improvement levers based on the results.
  • Managing digital projects (website, landing page, etc.), events and internal communications in collaboration with members of the communications department worldwide.

Skills needed

You are a native English speaker or at least perfectly bilingual in English with a good command of French. You have very good writing skills and excellent spelling. You are comfortable dealing with complex topics in a BtoB environment. You have an interest in subjects related to digital, mobile payment, marketing and new technologies. You will be dynamic, organised, creative and autonomous in your missions. You will be able to federate team members around your projects.

  • Good knowledge of WordPress in its editorial part.
  • Advanced expertise in Linkedin, Twitter, Instagram, Google My Business and YouTube.
  • Familiar with creative tools: Adobe suite, Canva…
  • Knowledge of performance monitoring tools.


Higher education in business school, school of communication with a specialization in corporate communication, digital or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position.

Occasional travel to subsidiaries may be required.​​
